This project is a practice piece created to improve my VFX skills in Unreal Engine. I worked on realistic tank explosions and environmental effects, using flipbooks generated in EmberGen and custom textures designed in Substance Designer. The tank model was sourced online and enhanced with custom textures to give it a unique look.
To provide a fitting environment for the scene, I used Megascans assets and the Procedural Content Generation (PCG) system in UE5. The PCG system proved to be an efficient and versatile tool, simplifying the process of asset placement and terrain creation while offering a workflow reminiscent of Houdini.
This project allowed me to refine my technical skills and experiment with creating a cohesive and immersive scene filled with action and atmosphere
